Ackerman Retail brokers sale of fully-leased, 6,110 SF shopping center
ATLANTA, GA, December 03, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ — Ackerman Retail, the retail division of Ackerman & Co., announced today it represented Tucker Village LLC in the sale of Tucker Village Shopping Center in Tucker, Ga., northeast of the city of Atlanta. A 1031 exchange investor purchased the 6,110-square-foot shopping center for $3.3 million.
Ackerman & Co.’s retail investment sales team led by Sean Patrick, senior vice president, marketed the property on behalf of the owner and brokered the sale. Bill Monheit of Newmark Realty Capital Inc. represented the buyer.
“This was an excellent opportunity for the buyer to purchase a newly constructed, fully-leased retail property offering a superior location, high visibility and a national credit rent roll,” Patrick said.
Delivered in late 2016, Tucker Village Shopping Center is occupied by Chipotle Mexican Grill, AT&T and Wingstop.
Located at 4347 Hugh Howell Road at the intersection of Lawrenceville Highway, the property is near big-box retailers including Publix, Kroger and Walmart Supercenter, as well as restaurant chains such as Chick-fil-A, Starbucks, Zaxby’s, Cookout and Dunkin’ Donuts.
