MarketingFlyerITH Charities Presents – A Night of Hope for Zambia fundraiser, in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 21st, 2016. This fundraising event will include an evening to give back to a Zambian school in need, networking opportunities, great food, live music and much more.

In December 2015, ITH Charities adopted Mukaliakwa School with 850 children in the Central Provence of Zambia (Mumbwa District, Lusaka Rural). This school was chosen due to pressing needs with respect to sanitation specifically. The focus of the Advance Education Night of Hope for Zambia is to create awareness and raise funds to provide proper hygiene and sanitation for the children that attend this school. ITH Charities has pledged to add additional pit latrines (toilets), currently there is only one pit latrine for 850 children and staff. Can you imagine one single pit latrine for 850 children? Please join us in this very important initiative and to help the Mukaliakwa school in need.

To date, ITH Charities has provided 250 children with needed uniforms and purchased supplies for the entire school. ITH Charities also plans to construct additional teacher’s housing (as per required by the Ministry of Education). This project will reduce the current deficit of teachers; currently the school has seven teachers and this project will increase the teaching staff to 18. Additionally, ITH Charities will provide eye-clinics for 1,000 children in Zambia with assessments to improve vision, to help children that are struggling in school due to poor vision and to prevent blindness. The goal for this fundraiser is to raise $20,000 to construct at least four pit latrines.  Additional funding, above the $20,000.00 goal is required to address the remaining program needs.

The Advance Education– A Night of Hope for Zambia fundraiser, is therefore a means by which we can obtain the necessary funds required to accomplish the aforementioned goals. Along with our executive team and select board members, we believe that your presence would be invaluable toward enabling us to accomplish the task of meeting our target goals. Therefore, ITH Charities is honored to extend an invitation to you as a special guest.
