Prior to joining Windes, Jenny was a tax director for a Big 4 accounting firm. She brings over 14 years of experience in federal and state income tax compliance of large, complex passthrough entities and international corporations. Jenny provides strategic consulting services to partnerships, S corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. She also specializes in domestic and cross-border transactions, including Section 1031 exchanges.
Jenny serves a wide variety of clients in various sectors, including real estate, private equity, hospitality, professional service firms, and companies in the manufacturing, transportation and trade, SaaS, and wholesale/retail industries.
Jenny also works closely with family offices, reviewing trust documents, advising on domestic and cross-border trust and estate planning, and ensuring trust, gift, and foundation tax compliance.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Hunter College, City University of New York (CUNY), and a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California’s (USC) Leventhal School of Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA). Jenny is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese and understands Cantonese.
