Listen in as we talk to this phenomenal woman

Please tell us about your brand.

I help women who are frustrated, confused and isolated to find peace, clarity, and connection so they can go out and turn their dreams into reality. Through personal development, I help women own their stories, conquer their fears so they can reach their goals. Whether through my self-help books, my podcast interviewing other successful women that are walking in a manner worthy of their calling, or my coaching services I’m passionate about helping others tap into their potential.

What are you currently working on?

I’m currently working on studying resilience through our stories. Through the women I coach, social media, the women I interview on the podcast and myself I’m learning how we build our resilience muscle and our emotional strength. It all comes down to how much you want something and how much you are willing and able, to overcome obstacles to get it. The goal is to place it into another self-help book.

What caused you to want to help women succeed like you do?

I was once in the shoes of the women I help. There was a time when I didn’t think that a powerful woman existed inside of me. From teen motherhood to divorce and a multitude of other struggles in between, I found myself feeling broken and defeated. It was in my lowest moments when life had brought me to my knees that I realized I needed to stop living by fear and start living by faith. I made God my foundation and the life he’s helped me build are beyond what I could have imagined. Today, I walk in faith and courage with my head and my stilettos high.

It was after the loss of my sister in 2012 that I discovered exactly where I was walking to. My sister was my best friend and the perfect example of what it meant to live a life of serving. She was a source of support and inspiration to so many. I knew that I was being called to be the same.

My mission is to be an agent of transformation, helping you discover that there is no darkness in your life that is too dark for God to shine through.

What can people expect from you in 2020?

Greatness!

What is your definition of collaboration over competition?

We can be in business for ourselves but we can’t do it alone. We need each other to multiply our efforts to succeed. We don’t need to compete with anyone other than the person we were yesterday. God does not run out of blessings. We must create together.

What is the one thing that 2019 taught you?

2019 taught me that I’m a survivor! My resilience muscle is a lot stronger than I ever thought possible. I didn’t think I was going to make it out alive but here I am in 2020 thriving…
